Black Garlic, Fig & Port Chutney
Seasonal Chutney
This seasonal treat is so devilishly good you’ll be back grabbing a few more jars before we sell out, it really is that good! Grab the cheese board, pate and crackers and tuck right in like kid in a sweet shop, it’s sweet, savoury with a hint of Port makes it very moreish, we’ve updated our original recipe and added 10% Black Garlic, its even yummier than before.
As with all Daddy Cool’s products you can expect there to be that trademark tingle you’ve learnt to love but you won’t breathe fire, its only Kashmiri Chilli after all.
SUGGESTED USES Ideally made for cheese boards but we’ve now tried it with pate and homemade sausages, mix some into the meat while making them or just add a dollop while you eat them.
We can also provide catering tubs, please ask for details.
INGREDIENTS: Black Figs (43%), Brown Sugar, Black Garlic (10%), Shallots, Port (8.6%), Balsamic Vinegar, Maple Syrup (4%), Minced Ginger, Fresh Lemon Zest, Kashmiri Chilli Powder (0.6%), Corn Flour, Black MUSTARD Seeds, Spices, Salt.

O.M.G, this is Christmas in a jar, I had some a while ago and used it on cheese and biscuits, the jar didn’t last long.
A fruity sweetness that complements cheese perfectly, you’ll never want cheese on it’s own again. ?

Wow, what a chutney, this lifts even a bland cheese up to a taste explosion for your taste buds, I love it, it’s gorgeous.

Hi Janet, firstly Happy New Year for 2024! I’m so glad you like my idea mixing sweet n savory flavours together, as you said cheese, cheese and dare i say it? more cheese, that’s exactly what i made it for. x
