International Hummus Day Recipe

Homemade hummus takes minutes and tastes amazing, take it to the next level by introducing some of Daddy Cool’s products to the basic recipe. We’d love to see how you pimp up your hummus!

  • 1 400 g can of chickpeas
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil + Extra to drizzle


  • Drain the chickpeas and put into a food processor. Add more lemon juice to taste or a splash of water to loosen if needed.
  • Peel and add the garlic, then add the tahini, a generous squeeze of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of oil. Add a pinch of sea salt, then pulse until nearly smooth.
  • Use a spatula to scrape the hummus down the sides of the bowl, then blitz again until smooth.
  • Add your Daddy Cool’s of choice and pulse through the hummus until well incorporated, transfer to a serving bowl and dress with a glug of olive oil.
